The atelier

Six disciplines, one address

Everything a classic needs is done in this building: strip-down, engine bench, trim shop, paint booth, inspection ramp and a climate-controlled store.

  1. 01

    Mechanical restoration

    12–20 weeks

    Chassis strip-down, suspension and steering rebuild, brake hydraulics, fuel and cooling systems — documented stage by stage with photographs and measurements.

  2. 02

    Engine & driveline rebuilds

    8–16 weeks

    Full engine teardown, machining, balancing and reassembly, plus gearbox, overdrive and rear-axle rebuilds on a dedicated bench.

  3. 03

    Interior & trim

    4–10 weeks

    Hide and cloth work, seat frames, headlinings, carpets, wood and chrome brightwork — patterns taken from the car, never from a catalogue.

  4. 04

    Paint & body correction

    6–14 weeks

    Panel fit and lead-loading, bare-metal preparation, period-correct colour matching and hand flatting in a low-bake booth.

  5. 05

    Pre-purchase inspection

    from $650

    A 180-point inspection with lift time, compression and leak-down numbers, a photo set and a written opinion on value.

  6. 06

    Long-term storage & maintenance

    from $190 / month

    Climate-controlled bays, battery conditioning, monthly exercise runs, fluid checks and an annual service log for every car in our care.

How an order runs

Five stages, priced before the first bolt moves

  1. 01

    Enquiry

    A call or a letter describing the car, its history and what you want from it. We answer with questions, not a quote.

  2. 02

    Inspection

    The car comes to the atelier. We photograph, measure and compress — then send a written condition report.

  3. 03

    Scope

    A fixed scope with stages, hours and parts, priced before a single bolt moves. Changes are quoted separately.

  4. 04

    Work

    Bench work in numbered stages, with photographs at every stage and a standing weekly update.

  5. 05

    Handover

    Road testing, a final inspection sheet and a bound file with every part number and measurement we recorded.
